The Operation

The scope and size of the Sun Pacific® operation is simply growing.  Currently we grow, pack and market over 35 million boxes of fruit all over the world! Moving massive volumes at meticulous speeds with the utmost attention is our expertise.

All told, we move more than 10 million cartons of Navels & Valencias, close to 1 million cartons of Kiwi, over 3.5 million cartons of Tomatoes and 4 million lugs of Table Grapes.

We start with the precise art of selecting of the best variety, soil, seed, rootstock and budwood. All our fresh produce is grown in our fields and refined in our packinghouses.

Our operation has its origins at our first Citrus plant in Exeter, where our process was developed and refined. Our systems now extend to our additional Citrus facilities in Bakersfield and Woodlake as well as our plant in Maricopa, our latest addition, which handles our entire Clementine production as well as other Citrus.

We are continually working to improve our process and facilities. In 1989, a grape cold storage facility was built to set a new standard for rapid pre-cooling and computer monitored grape storage. The Exeter plant has also expanded to include the handling of Tomatoes and we are building a new facility  in Tulare, which will be the latest addition to the Kiwi and Tomatoes operation.
